Morgen gibt es ab 18 Uhr die verbleibenden Tickets für die CitizenCon 2016 in Los Angeles. Heute gab es ja schon für Abonnenten die Möglichkeit. Leider habe ich aber kein Ticket mehr abbekommen. Bis ich die spezielle Seite gefunden hatte, wo man sie hätte kaufen können, waren alle weg. Für morgen ist zu erwarten, dass es noch wesentlich schneller ausverkauft ist. Heute waren nach 10 Minuten alle Tickets weg.

UPDATE: Entgegen allen Erwartungen gingen die Tickets im allgemeinen Verkauf wesentlich langsamer weg, als für die Abonnenten. Selbst nach mehr als 15 Minuten waren noch Tickets zu haben.

Ich habe es also locker geschafft ein Ticket zu ergattern und werde im Oktober nach Los Angeles fliegen und für Euch von der CitizenCon berichten.

Greetings Citizens

Citizen Con is Cloud Imperium Games’ annual celebration of Star Citizen and the incredible community that is making the game’s development possible. Citizen Con marks the original October 2012 announcement of the Star Citizen crowdfunding campaign, and the event has previously been held in Austin, Los Angeles and Manchester. This year, Citizen Con returns to Los Angeles for an action-packed day that will celebrate the latest and greatest work our developers are putting out.

Event Details

Are you interested in attending Citizen Con 2016 in person? A limited number of tickets are now available via the pledge store for backers who wish to join the team for the party in person!


The event location is the Avalon Hollywood at 1735 Vine St, Los Angeles, CA 90028.


Doors open at 2:00 PM with the presentation starting at 3:00 PM. After the presentation, you’ll have a chance to mingle with the Star Citizen team! The dress code is smart casual (no flip-flops, shorts, or baseball caps.) Drinks will be available for purchase but no food will be available, so be sure to grab a bite to eat before the event! The venue is 21+, and we are unable to admit anyone younger. Paid parking will be available in the lot next door.


Tickets for the event will be $45 each and will go on sale Friday, March 18th at 10 AM PDT/5 PM GMT. Watch this post- tickets will be available here!
